Fall on in to The Cockentrice

Fall on in to The Cockentrice

After a great summer we are looking forward to the fall foliage, weekend football games, dry-aged steaks, big red wines,  leisure dinners, and greeting old friends as the vacation season comes to an end. We hope this newsletter proves useful as you make your plans for fall dining at The Cockentrice!

Happening Now

October 17th at 7:00p.m., join us at the Cockentrice as Chef Kevin Ouzts hosts winemaker Woody Hambrecht of AlysianWines for a coursed dinner paired with wines selected by Woody himself. This event is on a Monday evening, when the restaurant is otherwise closed, so the event is going to be small, intimate and not-to-be missed. Tickets are $75.00 and can be purchased at

We are thrilled to be sharing our restaurant for the evening with a winery that has the same philosophy about wine that we do about food. Alysian is in California and focuses on veteran growers and off-the-beaten-path vineyards in Sonoma County, Mendocino County, Humboldt County and as far north as Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Read more about them on their website http://www.alysianwines.com/about-us/ This event WILL sell out!

Let’s Party

It’s really hard to believe, but that crisp air means holidays are right around the corner. We threw some pretty awesome parties last year at The Cockentrice if we do say so ourselves, and we are starting to book them again this year. We are closed for lunch so if you work for a more tame company that knows better than to do a holiday party at night, luncheons are also a great option, giving you access to the entire restaurant as a private event. Email our GM Andrew Carter (acarter@thespottedtrotter.com) or call the restaurant (470-428-2733) to book your holiday party now
