Menu for the Week of September 24, 2012 — Come See Us at Field of Greens!

We certainly hope to see some of you this Friday at CIVIC III, which is already sold out!

If, however, you did not make your reservation in time and an afternoon on a farm eating great local food for a good cause is more your speed, you’re in luck!  This Sunday, September 30th, TST will be participating in Field of Greens. Tickets are still available and a mere $20 will get you (1) unlimited tastings in the Chef’s Tent, featuring 30 of Atlanta’s and Athens’ best farm to table chefs; (2) access to an interactive Kid’s Village; (3) local music; (4) festival market and craft demonstrations; and (5) “Meals from the Market” where you can chat up local farmers for growing tips while learning and tasting simple recipes made from the seasonal vegetables they are selling.  Vendors like TST will also be there sampling and selling our goodies (so bring a cooler just in case!).  Kevin will also be doing a special demo with the beautiful harvest the farmers are sure to provide!

We have to say, this is one of our favorite events of the year because the weather is always so great.  It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday!
