You may have noticed from our title that we put Happy Mother’s Day before Cinco de Mayo, even though the famous drinking and partying holiday comes first in the week.  We love our moms, so we are no dummies.  They go first in the title and first in our hearts!  And now we are giving you the opportunity not to be a dummy either!

If you are trying to figure out how to celebrate the moms in your life this week, we recommend the following:  (1) Stop by on Tuesday for some Spanish Chorizo (salami) or Mexican Chorizo (fresh sausage).  Make a delicious Cinco de Mayo feast on a Tuesday night (because you deserve it), and use this margarita-induced haze to reflect on how much you love your mom (or wife, or partner, or sister, or any special lady in your life!).  

Then, start planning your return trip to The Spotted Trotter to have our butcher and cheese-monger dream team of Lou and Scott put together an amazing charcuterie spread for your Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday.  We recognize that this is an easy sell when planning for Father’s Day — MEAT PLATTER.  MEN.  GRUNT. — but why should the dad’s have all the fun!? Let us put something beautiful together for you this week so that you can really thank that special someone for always being there for you.  And if charcuterie and cheese isn’t what you think she’ll want, let us help you pick out the perfect protein to create an amazing meal that she won’t see coming.
