Menu for the Week of March 12, 2012 — Spring has Sprung!

From the looks of our case as we closed the shop on Sunday, everyone has dusted off their grills and is ready for a wonderful Spring of grilling out and eating well with friends — we can’t seem to keep the Brasstown Ribeyes, Flat Iron Steaks, and Center Cut Pork Chops on the shelves!  All of the fresh sausages sold out as well, so kudos to you Atlanta for continuing to shop local and eat good meat! 

In addition to cranking out some new delicious menu items this week, The Spotted Trotter heads to the Highlands, North Carolina on Saturday where Kevin will be on the panel of chef judges for the third annual King of the Mountain Chef’s Challenge, held at the beautiful Old Edwards Inn & Spa.  We are honored to be participating, but let’s be honest, we are really excited to be taking our first day off since New Years and letting someone else do the cooking!  This will be our first time leaving the retail shop together, so we imagine it’ll be a bit like leaving a baby with a sitter for the first time — emergency numbers posted everywhere and checking in every hour on the hour!
