Menu for the Week of July 16, 2012 — Reserve Your Spot At TST’s First CIVIC Event!

Menu for the Week of July 16, 2012 — Reserve Your Spot At TST’s First CIVIC Event!

The time has arrived!  On July 27th, please join us as we host the first installment of CIVIC.  As we explained in a prior post, CIVIC is a night of charcuterie, music, and community that we’ll be hosting on the last Friday of every month on our porch.

Civic  /  adj.  /  Of, concerning, or affecting the community or the people.

Below, you’ll find three different price points of charcuterie plates.  You just reserve which one you want ahead of time, choose your seating time (8 p.m. or 10 p.m. firm), and then bring yourself and whatever you want to drink.  We’ll take care of the food, cutlery, glasses, and some music.  If you bring white wine, we’ll even have community ice buckets on hand, so no need to bring a cooler.

For those who sign up, a couple days in advance we’ll email you a reminder and suggested wine pairings, picked exclusively by Ian Mendelsohn, whose resume includes the likes of H&F Bottle Shop, Avant Partir, and the St. Regis Hotel.  You may also remember him from our Cured Pairings Seminar at the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, so if you weren’t able to make it to that event, here’s your chance at redemption!

We will take reservations in the order we receive them, so please don’t procrastinate.  If we fill up quickly or get an outrageously heavy response, we’ll consider opening up a second day or we’ll just panic and cry.  Either way, please be patient as this first event unfolds!

To reserve your place, please e-mail Megan (megan@thespottedtrotter.com) no later than Friday, July 20th with the following information:

(1)  Your charcuterie plate selection including whether you are adding on the foie gras torchon.  If you are choosing the third selection, please also let us know if you choose chicken liver pate, rabbit pate, or the rillette.  Note, all salami, cheese, and cured whole muscle selections will be Chef’s choice.

(2)  Reservation Preference — 8 p.m. or 10 p.m. firm.

(3)  The number of people in your party.

And without further ado — here are your selections:
