Its confession time Atlanta…..Okay, so here goes my huge request for leniency.  Atlanta, please don’t be mad but I must reveal that for the past two years my loving wife Megan has been entertaining and eloquently writing our weekly posts, not only because she is so excited to be here with you but mostly because she is what I would have to say, as an attorney and English Major, a bit of a literary gazelle. She really knows what she is doing both in her writing style and her editorial marksmanship.

As she will without a doubt be missed, I do want to take this time to let you all know that Megan has taken a new position (Congrats Sweetheart!) where she will no longer be able to help in this weekly task. While there may be a bit more rambling, miss-spellings, and  esoterically overused adjectives, I will be here with you, to discuss, entertain, and most importantly inform you of what we have to offer.  Before we move on I would also like to let everyone know how grateful and how incredibly lucky I am to have a woman like Megan in my life, without her, there would be no Spotted Trotter. I would just like to say from the bottom of my heart and from all the folks that told me how much they loved your posts, Thank You So Much for your writing and all you have done to make me the luckiest man in the world! I am so excited to see what the future has to hold for us and the city of Atlanta in 2013!!  Get Ready….

  2. Hi, I heard about you from my Scoutmob daily email. I don’t have a smartphone so I couldn’t get the app deal on your jerky, but I am interested in your offerings. First off, my husband is a huge jerky fan–specifically biltong since he’s from South Africa. As a matter of fact, we’re supposed to pick some up today from Goldberg’s Bagels since the guy that owns Goldberg’s is from South Africa and they carry a few SA specialty items.

    Is your jerky very salty? I know all jerkys must be somewhat salty, but just wondering to what degree.

    I’m also interested in your sausages and I’m wondering how salty they are. We’re health conscious so we try to go as easy on the sodium as we can, but I realize with those types of specialty items, there will always be a pretty high level of sodium. Anyway, it sounds like you have a interesting niche market and I wish you much success. I will try to come and visit soon and check out the jerky and sausage. Thanks so much!
