Menu for the Week of April 8, 2013 — The Farmers Markets Are Back!

In addition to the Final Four madness, this past weekend saw the opening of Peachtree Road Farmers Market for the season!  We were there and were so happy to see so many familiar and new faces.  If you weren’t able to make it to the market this past weekend, don’t fear!  You’ll have your chance 8:30 – Noon every Saturday through November, so we hope to see you soon.  Remember also that we are at East Atlanta Village Market starting Thursday, April 18th and Grant Park Market starting Sunday, April 21st!

This year is always a busy time for us with the markets ramping back up, but 2013 is especially busy it seems.  This week, we are catering a week-long event at the Masters in Augusta.  It’s our first time doing this, and we are really excited to be cooking for what should be a really festive and fun crowd.  But, there’s no rest for the weary, and as soon as we return, The Spotted Trotter will be setting our sights on the third annual Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, which is May 30th through June 2nd.  We are still finalizing the specifics of our involvement, but let’s just say we’re taking last year’s appearance and raising it a couple notches!  Can’t wait!!!
